Where To Drink This Week: Aspen – Creperie du Village

October 2nd, 2012 Posted by Aspen, restaurants, Where To Drink This Week No Comment yet

In our society, it is perfectly fine to have a little alcohol in the morning, as long as you serve it in coffee or O.J., the normal breakfast drinks.  At la Creperie du Village in Aspen, you can wake up to a $4 Bloody Mary or a $5 Mimosa.  You might even ask to taste one of their unique ‘coffee drinks’ such as their “Fiaker,” made from strong black coffee served with a shot of Austrian rum.

If you want to further your ‘joie de vivre’ (French for ‘joy of life’), enjoy a French wine out on the patio.  Although, as the weather continues to cool down, you may rather warm up to a mug of vin chaud (a.k.a. Glühwein) made from red wine that is heated and spiced with vanilla pods, cloves, orange, and brown sugar.

Whatever you choose, you will surely get a satisfying taste of some of the ‘joie de vivre’ offered at la Creperie du Village.

Creperie du Village is located at 400 East Hopkins Ave, Aspen, CO and can be reached at (970) 925-1566.
