Where To Eat This Weekend: District Meats

Two years ago I made a prediction that Denver is on the cusp of being the next major food city.  I think I was/am on to something as the amount of national attention Denver is receiving for our growing food scene, local chefs competing on national TV and being nominated for James Beard Awards we now have internationally known chef Charlie Palmer in ‘da hood.

The menu here is very approachable with their Colorado influenced take on the cobb salad to a grilled Scottish salmon and of course your choice of many different steaks, pork and pastas.  The prices range from $9-$20 for lunch and $12-$32 for dinner.  Well, really $62 is the most expensive item on their menu but that is for two for a bone in Kansas City strip steak.

The atmosphere here matches the menu, very approachable with giant screens for your viewing pleasure, an expansive bar and the chefs tables will also host dinners with Charlie Palmer himself, so stay tuned Denver, it’s only going to get tastier.
